Episode 23: A Message to the Haters

It has been a long time since I have gotten hate messages on this written blog. Yet, every once and a while on my VLOG on YouTube I get people who want to argue about things, call me names, etc. and I am never sure what they actually think they can accomplish with it. So in true YouTube fashion I had to make a video for the haters.

Ehav, I am sorry that you have to deal with haters. I guess as a male you get it probably a different way then how I get it.

I get more of a snaky haters style. They come asking seemingly innocently about Israel and their positions. Then slowly but surely the venom spews out. At me, it kind of oozes out.

Courage!

Hey Miriam. Don't cry for me Argintina. lol I actually like having haters, to some degree. It keeps me on my toes. I also end up with more material after dealing with them. One of the latest Hebrew Israelite haters gave me the idea to create a document to give out to people who deal with them.

You are right. As a guy I get the more confrontational types. That is the up front battle. I even got one death threat once on YouTube. I would say that for women the haters are more subtle at least at first.

1) Man, 99% of the people who comment on YouTube are out of their minds; if you're going to spend time on them you'll be there all day. You might even want to consider turning your videos off to coments..

2) Wha..what is that dark workshop you're standing in? Looks sort of like a carpentry place or something..

Hey Shlomo,

There are certain videos where I do turn off the comments and there are others where I do not. Most of the time I get more messages sent to my YouTube mail as compared to comments on the videos. I only comment on certain types of hate messages. They normally tire long before I do. That is partially because they are expecting a certain type of arguement and I come from a different angle.

The room I filmed this in is an Anechoic Chamber. It is used to cut off sound and signals from the outside. It is used for measuring radiated emissions from electroics as well as studios use them for making music since sound is contained inside and shielded from the outside.

Big Up ya self Ehav. Don't let those blood clots get to you. Keep putting out positive messages and information for those who want and need it. I too get haters because I am African American Jew, and at the same time I have people who support my beliefs and my Jewish lifestyle.

Stand firm.
